One of the key competitions on the east coast show jumping circuit, The Jumper Classic brings the equestrian sport of international, Olympic-caliber show jumping to New England each autumn. It is a favorite outdoor sporting event for devoted fans, horse enthusiasts, and families. More than 500 horses, 100 corporate sponsors, and 12,000 spectators converge for what the Boston Globe dubbed "the Social Sporting Event of the Season." Thousands of spectators flock to The Jumper Classic on the weekend for the two most spectacular days of the show.

The five-day show traditionally opens on Wednesday, when horses and riders, known as exhibitors, compete in the first of many classes in three rings on the 80-acre show grounds. For the next five days, the competition increases in difficulty as the jumps become higher and wider.
